scroll down for november update
Turkish classical movies are mostly from 1960-70.
During 70's a lot of fantastic movie was shooted in Turkey.
They were low budget productions, technology was poor, so most of them
are "funny" when we view now. That's the reason, some of this movies are in "cult movies" cathegory now.
"The Man Who Saved the World" is one of them,
well known by cult movie fans all over the world. Actor Cuneyt Arkin is the head character of this
Star Trek version.
Also a lot of historical hero fantastics such as "Kara Murat", "Tarkan",
"Karaoglan", "Malkocoglu"...
Another characteristic of 70's is erotic movies.
Mostly in comedy style, and mostly the adventures of some
ordinary or ugly male characters but has strong sexuel power. So the common males should be able
to see that their dreams became reel when they wieved this movies.

A Tribute to Yilmaz Guney
You can find a great selection of
movie
posters over at filmposters.com. They have a wide variety of
vintage
posters and posters of classic movies that are hard to find.
Movie
posters make for a great decoration for a college dorm room or for a
room at your house. They even have old
lobby
cards for movies. A
lobby
card was something they used in the early half of the 1900's to
advertise new movies
